| A WIN gets you 3 points, a LOSS 1 points, and a FORFEIT -3 points. We do not believe in DRAWs (see earlier article). |
| Summer 1-Day Tournament - Sunday July 5th | ||
| Our annual summer one-day tournament will now be held on Sunday, July 5th at Old Deer Park in Richmond, TW9. It is a 5min walk from the Richmond tube and mainline train stations.
The event is an all day event and entails having a full team ready to play approximately 5-7 games. We usually have between 12-16 teams attend from all divisions and levels. Make sure your team is included!! | ||

| Win, Lose, or Draw | ||
| For those new to the league, and a reminder for those that have forgotten, results are calculated as follows...
A game is 7 innings, however if bad light/weather conditions stop play, if 5 innings have been played then that can be taken as a result.
The CBSL do not actually believe in the scenario of a Draw. If 7 innings have been played and the scores are tied, then an 8th (or more) can be played whilst light allows, until one team is ahead. If the conditions are such that it is not safe to continue play, but the scores are tied, then you should roll the innings back to a point where one team was ahead. If this means going all the way back to the first innings scores then so be it. | ||
