The finals were full 7-innings games, which saw Goldman take the Trophy (after 6 years of BarCap dominance), and Deutsche take the Plate.
Congratulations to the winners, well done and oh so close to the runners-up, and hope all enjoyed the day. Please get the silverware engraved, and see you all soon!

A game is 7 innings, however if bad light/weather conditions stop play, if 5 innings have been played then that can be taken as a result.
The CBSL do not actually believe in the scenario of a Draw. If 7 innings have been played and the scores are tied, then an 8th (or more) can be played whilst light allows, until one team is ahead. If the conditions are such that it is not safe to continue play, but the scores are tied, then you should roll the innings back to a point where one team was ahead. If this means going all the way back to the first innings scores then so be it.

The annual summer one-day tournament will be held at Old Deer Park, Richmond TW9. All teams are welcome to play in the round robin event with a min of 5 games played per team. Combined teams are also encouraged for those who cannot muster a full team.
Its only a 5 minute walk from the Richmond train & tube station and also has parking for those driving.
Its a great day out, so come along. More details will be provided closer to the date.
